Collecting Method (Collection)Definition:
- This field describes the way the specimen was harvested, collected, captured or sampled.
Observations:- For biological sciences: the method of capture, sampling, salvage, harvest or collection.
- For Earth sciences: the method of collection or sampling.
- For better search results in your database, avoid a large variety of terms; draw up an authority list and add keywords as necessary. The following are some examples of keywords you may use:
