Previous Number (Identification)Definition:
- This field contains any numbers that have previously been assigned to the specimen, other than its accession number.
Observations:- The number entered in this field may be a number assigned to the specimen before it was acquired by your institution, a previous accession number or an expired catalogue number.
- N.B.: The main reference number for the specimen should be entered in the Accession Number field.
- N.B.: Do not confuse this field with the Collector Number field, which contains the collection number assigned to the specimen in the field by the collector.
