Presentation
The open light-filled space of the Musée d’Art de Joliette makes the museum a beautiful and welcoming place for the public. In addition to its permanent collection, where you can see works by Paul-Émile Borduas, Ozias Leduc, Adrien Hébert and Guido Molinari, the museum also features around 20 temporary exhibitions and art projects each year. The MAJ is recognized as Quebec's most important art museum outside the major cities.

Museum experiences
- The permanent exhibit The Reunited Islands brings together more than 120 works of art from the collection. Through different visual art disciplines, creators like Paul-Émile Borduas, François Lacasse, Adad Hannah and Guido Molinari are represented and reply to each other. The exhibition connects works from the 14th century with recent installations.
- Join in our virtual family tours of the permanent exhibition with our playful, interactive path - L'Odyssée de gouache and Pirate Mission - and our MAJ historical journey.
