The Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke is located in the former headquarters of the Eastern Townships Bank, a 19th century building. The Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke has as its primary mission the conservation and promotion of artworks by artists from the Eastern Townships. The permanent exhibition Espaces & paysages showcases the musée's collection which includes the works of the painter Frederick Simpson Coburn (1871-1960).
